Cool Story- Solving Behavior Problems with Animal Communication

What’s in a Name?

A client called about a cat who she had rescued. The cat would not go near her and wasn’t warming up to people so she called me for help. She had given the cat a lovely but rather long name. I suggested she might shorten the cat’s name to Tino (part of the original name Celestino). While on the phone with the client and right after I made that suggestion, the cat came up to her and put her paw on the woman’s hand. Yeah. Change the name. Not sure where to look for names, check the internet for baby names. One of my favorites is celtic names for kids

Hacks for Your Animals

CATS

How to get them to eat – never stop trying things. That seems to be the key. So some cooked organic eggs raw or raw cut up organic chicken liver.

CHICKENS
Powder nest boxes, coop floor and any place they do dust baths with food grade diatomaceous earth.  Controls mites.Meticulously clean water bowls daily.

HORSES

Put fine powdery dirt on any piles of poop. It keeps the flies from being able to breed.
