Saving an Animal

No, you can’t save them all, but the ones you save make a difference, and the more people who help and rescue animals the better. Here is a great rescue story from a student of mine, Savanna, who is studying to be an animal communicator and used her skill to save a horse in crisis. Savanna operates a horse rescue group in Pennsylvania.

“I started a job as an equine vet tech this week and we were called to an emergency colic where the mare was declining very quickly. By the time we got there, she had thrown herself down onto the cement and was thrashing around violently and casting herself against the wall. We had five people trying to get her up and onto the trailer for emergency surgery, the vet said she had torsion colic. She was refusing to get up and all I could hear in my head was “it hurts it hurts it hurts it hurts” over and over again. She couldn’t get up and the workers there started whipping her with lead ropes (being so new to the job, i was a bit in shock and standing off to the side not sure how to help in all the chaos). She continued to thrash around and it was hard to get near her. At one point, she just laid on her side in total resignation as people continued to whip her. She looked completely defeated and was just accepting them beating her to stand up. I could quite literally feel her giving up. It was awful to watch but I also knew it was either get her on her feet or death. I went up to her head and grabbed her halter and said the words “you have to try. You have to try. Please just try” and also thought these words to her as intensely as I could and sent the intention of love and care to her. Suddenly she righted herself onto her sternum and I shoved my leg under her neck to lean on. Another person pulled her towards her front feet and we all managed to physically roll her back up where she could stand. She tried! And she did it! We got her on the trailer and she went through emergency surgery and will make a full recovery.

On the way home, I just thought about how grateful I am for this ability to communicate with them and how grateful I am to you for teaching it. I am still so new and my confidence needs building, but that moment I believe this ability truly saved her life. Thank you for doing what you do and teaching others how to use our intention and intuition for good! I just wanted you to know how much of an impact you have outside of your own sessions with animals. You’re creating an army of intuitives that will touch so many animals! I’m so excited to continue learning from you and be able to use it in this way. “
